Right on the beach just north of the pier at Playa Los Muertos, Langostino's is a great place to start the day with a heaping helping of Mexican rock, cranked up to a respectable volume. The house favorite at this professional and pleasant place is surf and turf, and the three seafood combos are a good value. The kids can play on the beach while you linger over coffee or suds.
My husband and I accidentally happened upon Langostinos on our first evening in town. We were walking the beach at sunset and a man hollered out, "Hey you want a bucket of beers to enjoy the sunset with?" When we turned back to see him standing near a couple of lounge chairs in the sand with a front row seat to the sunset show we decided that it was just the thing to do! Our server's name turned out to be Carlos. He spoke enough English to keep us humored and feeling welcomed. Which is great for lackies like us who have yet to learn Spanish. He was great! Answered all sorts of questions about the area. Our bucket of Pacifico was very cold and the cheapest we found through out our stay.

We made sure to make a return visit for lunch a couple days later and were yet again incredibly pleased! The Mojitos were the best I found and I promise I tried one everywhere I possibly could! Food is basic but quite tasty. The service was awesome and they always remembered us when we would walk the boardwalk that passes in front along the beach. The manager was a very nice man who was easy to chat with and eager to help. We highly recommend this little gem! Wonderfully comfortable and in the three times we hung out there it was always a fun and worthwhile experience!
